Mon, 25 Aug 2008 04:04:12 +0000 http://china-crossroads.com/?p=456#comment-3533 [...] But, this post is supposed to be about me or, more precisely, video of me, shot by Rich at Crossroads.  I sat down with Rich several weeks ago and we talked about environmental issues in China.  It turns out Rich was secretly filming our discussion.  Had I known I was going to be on camera I would have at least shaved, run a comb through my hair, and dressed up.  As it is I’m looking pretty bedraggled and significantly older than my true age in the 95 degree heat of the coffee shop patio.  Anyway, as they say a video is worth a million words so I think I will have fulfilled my posting quota for balance of the year.  Check it out here. I had a great time doing the interview, and it was my pleasure to be involved with someone who cares so passionately about these issues. On the topic itself I think I've said all I can (and then some). If you had just got a shot of the delivery van doing the 15-point turn, you would have had a perfect visual for the challenges faced by China in improving fuel efficiency. One small complaint: I thought you said you were using the lens guaranteed to take 10 years off your age, are you sure you weren't using the +10 lens? Thanks for the plug Rich!
